Step aboard Cool Change for a five-day journey that opens up the full scale and diversity of Northland’s coastline, designed for those who want to travel further and experience more time under sail.

With this extended timeframe, the itinerary can reach well beyond the Bay of Islands, incorporating Whangamumu Harbour, the Cavalli Islands, Whangaroa Harbour, and, in favourable conditions, the iconic Poor Knights Islands. The result is a varied and immersive passage through some of New Zealand’s most striking coastal environments.

Days are defined by the journey itself. Sail between destinations, explore remote anchorages, swim in clear waters, or paddle ashore to untouched beaches. The experience is active yet flexible, allowing you to balance exploration with time to simply take in the surroundings.

Wildlife encounters are a natural part of the voyage, from dolphins alongside the hulls to the rich marine life of these offshore environments.

As each day draws to a close, anchor in carefully selected bays and settle into the rhythm of life on the water, with relaxed onboard dining and peaceful nights at anchor.
